North Balwyn Baseball Club would like to extend our best wishes to Taran Rose as he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his baseball journey, heading off to college this week!
Taran first started playing at North Balwyn when he was 8 years old and continues to make his mark in the Seniors. While playing for North Balywn Taran won three U13 Grand Finals, two U15 Grand Finals, and playing a pivotal role in the Camberwell Grammar programs first Grand Final win in U17. He was also captain of the CGS program in 2022.
Taran’s contributions to North Balwyn Baseball Club include representing the club in:
– The Eastern Athletics Little League, Junior league Teams
– The Eastern Athletics Senior League Team, which represented Australia as part of the in the Senior League World Series
– The Victoria U18 State Team at the Australian National Youth Championships
Taran will be heading to Quincy University in Quincy, Illinois in the United States, where he will continue his baseball journey as a catcher. Quincy University competes in the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC).
