On Sunday 24 August, the Hive came alive as we gathered to celebrate our junior players at the annual Junior Presentation Day. With the BBQ sizzling, families cheering, and plenty of smiles all around, it was the perfect way to wrap up another fantastic season of junior baseball at North Balwyn.
This day is about more than just trophies – it’s about recognising the effort, improvement, and spirit that every junior brings to our club. Whether it was a first hit, a diving catch, or simply showing up with a great attitude each week, our juniors make us proud every time they step on the diamond.

The presentation day is also about celebrating the friendships, resilience, and sense of community that baseball builds. For many of our juniors, this season was their first step into the game, while others took on leadership roles and inspired their teammates.
We’re incredibly proud of how all our young players represented the North Balwyn Baseball Club this year – playing with skill, passion, and that Stingers buzz!
A massive thank you goes out to our coaches, scorers, team managers, volunteers, and families for the countless hours spent making the season possible. From early mornings at the ballpark to cheering from the sidelines, we couldn’t do it without you.
The future looks bright
With juniors like these coming through the ranks, the future of the Stingers is in very good hands. We can’t wait to see you all back on the diamond in 2026 – bigger, stronger, and buzzing louder than ever!
