Aaron Hines, known around the club as “Hinesy” reached a remarkable milestone this weekend by playing his 200th game for the North Balwyn Baseball Club, squaring off against GMBC thirds.
When asked about his secret to sticking around for so long, Aaron joked, “It’s all about the pre-game rituals – a good stretch, some laughs, and, of course, a stash of ‘Old man pills’ (ibuprofen)!” (quote yet to be confirmed) While the game was a loss and an end of the Thirds season, it did not shadow the amazing accomplishment of 200 games played, even if you get home stolen on you.
Playing 200 games is no small feat and something to be incredibly proud of. So next time you see Aaron around the club, make sure to give him a pat on the back for this awesome achievement!
