James Roy, affectionately known as “Captain Tight Pants” has played his 300th game for the North Balwyn Baseball Club this weekend, against Forest Hill Thirds.
When asked about his secret to longevity in the game, Roy quipped, “Lots of ice packs, plenty of banter, and a healthy dose of luck… and maybe some questionable calls from the umpire now and then!” (quote yet to be confirmed)
300 games is an enormous achievement and one to be proud of. Be sure to congratulate James when you see him around the club!
