2023 Season
The North Balwyn Baseball Club are celebrating a major milestone for one of our most dedicated players, Jason ‘Poves’ Povey, who has played his 250th game for the North Balwyn Baseball Club during the 2023 season.
Affectionately known as “Poves,” Jason has been a cornerstone of our club for years. His unwavering commitment, love for the game, and leadership both on and off the field have made him a fan favourite and a true asset to our club.
Playing 250 games is a testament to Jason’s dedication and passion for baseball. From early morning line painting to running to and from the bottle store for canteen supplies, Poves has consistently demonstrated what it means to be a clubman and a club player. His experience and wisdom continue to inspire those around him, and we’re incredibly proud to have him as part of our club.
As we look back on the 2023 season, let’s take a moment to honour Poves and his remarkable achievement. Congratulations, Jason, on reaching this fantastic milestone. Here’s to many more games, memories, and victories ahead!
